Back in my day Metallica was by far the top metal and of their time. Today they still pack the biggest stadiums. So who’s next in line to carry the torch? Five Finger Death Punch has definitely earned that right. They’ve paid their dues as far as grinding their way to the top. What about Avenged Sevenfold. I look at this band and see so many similarities to the Great Metallica. First thing I see is how their music has evolved to attract new fans with the old fans. Just like Metallica, they even tragically lost a member at the time they started getting famous. Most important though, is every album they put out keeps getting better and better. Both of these band are sure to be around for a long time. They are both that good.
