Fish

I get asked a lot about aquariums. I’ve had aquariums of some kind for as long as I can remember. I started with Fresh Water. I had Oscars and other Cichlids. I had a Red Devil that got about 12 inches long. Pretty Male. He lived 13 years before he passed away. Fresh water fish are not hard to keep and maintain. Monthly water changes and cleaning are about the most time you spend working on them. I then moved up to African Cichlids. Another Fresh water fish. Difference is Africans need a higher PH. They are more aggressive, so you’ll have to be careful with the fish you purchase. I had Frontosas. Now I have a Saltwater aquarium. It definitely requires more attention. I do weekly and monthly maintenance with this one but it’s great. It’s like having a piece of the ocean in my home.
