We all know that the world we live in has changed. Things are different now. A person can start a social media account and win over thousands of followers with 0 talent. They just post videos and pictures of them living their normal everyday life. Going to the store. Eating out. You have to be careful with some of these people. Most of them are good people but some are not. I remember years ago a guy bought a $1000 prop replica. He broke it and returned it. He requested another one and returned it broken as well. There was no damage to the shipping boxes, yet he blamed FedEx for the damage. I looked this guy up and found out he was a rival prop builder. Not only did he destroy 2 expensive replicas, but he then sent out post to all his followers claiming I ripped him off. He got a full refund so how was he ripped off? Then a lot of his followers left bad reviews and they never even shopped my store. It was all just a cowardly attempt to ruin a rival’s reputation. I’ve learned to watch out for these guys. Sometimes the right thing isn’t worth the backlash. Sometimes you just got to let karma deal with the bad guys. Last I checked this prop builder has thousands of followers and 0 friends.
