I get a lot of sales calls. People selling Insurance to Home Warranties. I’ve noticed when I tell them I’m not interested they don’t just get pushy, they get rude. They will tell me I’m going to get sick, and I’ll wish I bought their insurance. Some don’t even greet me from the beginning. Some just hang up when I tell them I’m not interested. I remember this one time I was looking for a side by side 12-gauge shotgun for skeet. I went to this Sporting goods store and after about 30 minutes of being ignored this prick in a suit asked what I was looking for? I told him a side-by-side double barrel 12-gauge shotgun. He asked what I wanted to do with it? I said skeet shooting. He said they only had one and showed me an antique gun that was $35,000. I asked if this would be his choice of gun to shoot skeet? He replied, “No this is an antique for display only”. I just rolled my eyes and went across the street and bought one from his competitor.
